mandatory volunteer training
If you are interested in volunteering to help with this program you will have to attend a one day workshop/training for the Voices after-school program. This workshop will include an overview of the program, volunteer training and mentor training. The Shelterhouse will be conducting backgrounds screens on everyone working directly with the girls. Paperwork will be provided at the workshop. Please bring a copy of your Driver’s License with you.
Whether you are able to give your time weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly we look forward to volunteering with you. Our mission is to equip each of the girls and young women who attend the club, with the tools they need to empower them with confidence to become leaders.
